Head Chef for Seasonal job in Lapland
Are you interested in an experience of a new challenge as a head chef? We are a small family business that has been growing by generations, in the beginning we were just a small reindeer farm and now we are one of the most important farms in Lapland, Finland. Continuing as a hotel and restaurant in the last two years. We want you to be part of our team and grow together! We are searching people that are motivated and wants to learn our traditional ways and lappish delicacies.
We offer you an excellent salary for a head chef that has an experience of 2 years minimum. This is a winter season job, that means we work as our customers demands. There will be some months that we make the minimum hours (150 hr) and there will be busy month that will be necessary to work more.
We give you the chance to work in Lapland, enjoy our culture and nature, experience this unique adventure in one of the most famous villages of Lapland: Levi.
-Responsible in the kitchen.
-Making breakfast/lunch/dinner for big groups and a la carte menu.
-Helping when is need in the restaurant area.
-Experience as a Head chef.
-Experience in different kind of cuisine.
-Good level of english.
-Experience working under pressure.
-Permission to work in Europe. (We will help with the paper work about citizenship to can work seasonal job)
-Driving license B.
-Available to work in different shifts.
-Motivated and interested in learning different kind of cuisine.
What we offer:
As the Finnish laws requires we will give you all the conditions an employee earns in Finland:
-Sunday and holiday working days double pay.
-Minimum days off per week.
-Salary increases. Starting in 12e/hour.
Apartment for our employees, to make easy to adapt to Levi. If you choose to accept the apartment, is required to pay a rent for your room. We will include the pick up to the apartment.
