We recruit superstars to join a best-in-class brand. We are conducting a search for a Front End / Shopify Developer to work at our corporate headquarters in Los Angeles.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for performance and maintenance of the company’s consumer facing eCommerce website (WordPress / Shopify / WooCommerce / Magento)

  • Turn graphic mockups into functional webpages and make periodic updates

  • Ensure the company’s eCommerce platforms (both Shopify and WooCommerce) maintain near 100% uptime, including subscription platform

  • Ensure success and maintenance of all integrations between Shopify or WooCommerce and other tech platforms such as the company’s ERP and accounting software, GoogleAnalytics, MailChimp, ShipStation, payment gateway, etc.

  • Works extensively with UI / UX designers, web designers and other creative employees to execute on detailed digital design schemes

  • Proactive monitoring of all functionality of site and recommendations for upgrades / optimization of platforms and apps

  • Acts as the project leader for major company/system projects as necessary

  • Responsible for ensuring proper program design, coding, testing, debugging and communication of changes

  • Ensure effective utilization of outside vendors for support

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent and six to ten years relevant work experience

  • Mastery of HTML / CSS / JS

  • Experience with front end coding and managing a consumer facing website (WordPress) and eCommerce store (Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento), including theme creation and editing experience as well as a good understanding of each platforms limitations and work-arounds

  • Experience with building new sites and maintaining sites on Magento Extensive experience integrating disparate applications through APIs and custom code, as needed

  • Experienced in all best practices for ensuring optimization for search

  • Ability to conduct A/B testing for page and content optimization

  • Must stay on top of cutting edge trends in tech and ecommerce and bring new ideas and technologies to management team for consideration

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities

  • Honest, trustworthy, resourceful, positive attitude are essential
