Front-end Web Developer
Position Summary Information
Supporting the Digital Products Director, on small to medium-size web projects and CMS enhancements. S/he will primarily work remotely with occasional hours in the office.

Essential Duties Summary
Help maintain and improve the website which is on the Drupal 7 platform; able to aid in migration to Drupal 8
Collaborate with the digital and editorial teams to create and evolve multimedia and web pieces to populate the website as well as various social media channels and digital signs
Help support the college’s content managers
Participate in QA testing and bug fixes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required Qualification Summary
Advanced knowledge of Drupal 7 and 8, able to build and style views, able to troubleshoot reported issues and resolve or escalate as appropriate
Proficient with modern web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience working with responsive design frameworks, familiarity with Bootstrap
Demonstrated success in executing and delivering small to medium-sized projects
Good knowledge of user experience and user interaction design principles
Comfortable working remotely and independently while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues on tasks and timelines by telephone and electronically. Able to multitask. Available for occasional on-site meetings.
Comfortable using git in a team workflow
Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualification Summary
Familiar with SVG imagery
Familiar with Acquia Enterprise site management
UI and visual design skills
